Who is filling out this Interview? Melissa
Where are you from? South Burlington, Vermont
Tell me a little about yourself? I’ve lived in Vermont my entire life and except for visiting Quebec have never travelled outside the Northeast! My hobbies are reading, blogging, baking, watching Nascar, and hanging out with cats :)
What is your blog called? Mochas, Mysteries and Meows
When did you start blogging? and why? I started my blog in August 2011 as primarily a book blog with tidbits about my cat Tara. (Because books and cats just go together!) I really enjoyed writing about her, and just about the same time I really got a feel for her voice, she passed away. When I adopted Truffles I knew she was going to be a huge part of the blog and now nothing makes me happier than writing about my two favorite things in the world, cats and books.
How often do you blog? Is it a set schedule or random posts? I try to blog everyday. Some posts I have scheduled well in advance, some are spur of the moment.
What is your blog about? Cats and books. I call it a pet blog with literary flair, or a book blog with a pet-centric twist.
Do you have any animals? Yes, one perfect little tortoiseshell cat, Truffles.

What do you hope to achieve with your blog in 2014? I hope to gain the attention of more pet brands. Truffles loves reviewing stuff!
Have you ever attended any Blog Conferences?, If so what ones and how was it: No but BlogPaws is at the top of my bucket list!
What do you get inspiration from? Definitely Truffles. She puts a smile on my face and joy in my heart every single day and I want to share her with the world ;)
What are some of your favorite pet blogs to read? So, so many…Glogirly, Sparkle the Designer Cat, Catladyland, Island Cats, Sometimes Cats Herd You, Cat in the Fridge, Cat Wisdom 101…waaaaay too many to name. My blog roll is expanding everyday.
Anything else you would like to add? I always say that when I was a little girl I had a pile of books on one corner of my bed and a cat in the other. 30+ years they are still always the two things I am surrounded by; they are my bliss. Blogging about them now is just icing on the cake.
Do I have permission to copy this to my blog? Absolutely!
