*Perspective on Adopting a Rescue:
It is the best choice a family can make. Every dog that is rescued, we got Rooney from Golden Gate Pembroke Welsh Corgi Rescue, helps make room for more to be rescued. Not just that, Rooney came potty trained and crate trained! No puppyhood problems for us! J He was 1 ½ when we rescued him.

*Where are you from?
*Tell me a little about yourself?
My husband and I live in Livermore, California with Rooney. We are both California natives and have lived just outside, or within, the Bay Area our whole lives. I graduated from undergrad wanting to be a veterinarian. I applied to vet school all over the world and was enrolled at University of Glasgow, but laws changed and my husband was told he couldn’t stay in the country, so we returned home shortly after our arrival (there are a few more details on my About Us page). When we returned home, I decided veterinary school was too expensive and I enrolled in Business school instead.
I am currently working as a Social Media Marketing Associate and pursing my MBA at Santa Clara University. My husband is a very talented artist who delivers lumber here in the bay area during the day and paints (among other artistic projects) in the evenings.
*What is your blog called?
My Kid Has Paws
*When did you start blogging? And why?
I started my blog in July 2013. I started my blog because I truly love animals, and I feel that there is soo much information out there for pet parents and I want to serve as a good source of information. I worked as a veterinary technician (and occasionally still do on the weekend) for 3 years, and I am still asked pet questions left, right and center by my relatives and friends, and I LOVE those conversations. So I turned my blog into one long conversation of pet information, products, etc.
*How often do you blog? Is it a set schedule or random posts?
Some of my posts are scheduled (like Wordless Wednesday), but most are random. I try to blog between 3-5 days a week, but my school and work schedule sometimes change that ideal.
*What is your blog about?
All about pets and animals, any kind.
*Do you have any animals?
I do! I have a Corgi named Rooney

*Have you ever attended any Blog Conferences? If so what ones and how was it:
I have not, but I will be there in May!
