*Where are you from?
*Tell me a little about yourself?
I am a musician by trade. I also work as a writer, actor, and composer. I have four cats and a dog and no, I don‘t think that’s too many.
*What is your blog called?
*When did you start blogging?
*Why did you start blogging?
We were trying to promote our film “Catalogue” and were using the blog as a way to remind people to vote for us in an entertaining way. When I realized people were actually reading it, I kept going with it and turned it into a platform to support special needs pet adoption.
*How often do you blog? Is it a set schedule or random posts?
I generally aim for at least three times a week, if not more. Tuesday is usually Haikusday. Wednesday is an interview, giveaway, product review, etc. And Thursday is ALWAYS bachelor/ette of the week day, where I showcase a special needs pet who needs a home.
*What is your blog about?
Crepes the cat is a three-legged feline who loves to talk about herself. She also wants to help more special needs pets like herself get adopted. She’s got a saucy attitude and always says what she thinks. In between promoting adoption, she likes to make people laugh to keep them entertained. Our approach is to make people pay attention to adoption by entertaining them instead of making them sad about the plight of animals. Yes, of course it’s a sad topic, but if we always accentuate that aspect rather than the good that we can do, people will look away. We want more people to pay attention.
*Do you have any animals?
Rocky, 15 year old tabby. Niles, 14 year old black cat. Mrs. Peabody, 8 year old tortie. Dixie Doodle, a 9 year old mutt, and Crepes, a 3 year old tabby.

*What do you hope to achieve with your blog in 2014?
I would love for every one of my bachelor/ettes to find homes! I’m also happy when people sponsor pets because of my posts.
*Have you ever attended any Blog Conferences? If so what ones and how was it?:
Yes! I’ve attended BlogPaws twice. I’ve found it fun, entertaining, and very useful for networking. I’d definitely do it again.*What do you get inspiration from?
My cats. I use their personalities to write from their perspective. Each one of them is extremely unique and I never run out of things to talk about.
*Any advice for someone wanting to start their own Animal Blog?
Do it! Just start writing. If you enjoy it, readers will follow. If you have a passion, write about that, especially if you think it will make a difference in the lives of pets.
*Anything else you would like to add?
We started a web series called CATastrophes in January. Each episode features adoptable cats. In between, we focus on tips for living with cats and various other short features. It’s really fun and we hope it will bring more awareness to adoption. You can see it at http://youtube.com/catcatastrophes
*Do I have permission to copy this to my blog? Sure!
