*What is your position for your Animal Rescue/Shelter?
*Where are you located?
*Do you offer any awareness programs to your community?
We do not at the moment. We however promote awareness as to why it is best to adopt and alter your animals through our advocacy for our rescue animals.
*How long has your Animal Rescue/Shelter been around for?
*What types of animals do you have at your Animal Rescue/Shelter?
We currently (mainly) deal with dogs. However, we will never turn away animal if we have the capacity to help.
*If someone wanted to become a volunteer, how could they?
We do not have the need for animal interacting volunteers at the moment. We mostly require volunteers to help with events, such as our Halloween Haunted House, Silent Auction, concerts etc.
They can do so by contact us via email at: email@example.com to request a volunteer application.
*What types of items do you take as donations?
The items that we need on an almost daily basis are:
Blankets, kennels, leashes, collars, and toys.
We also do bottle drives, we rely heavily on our bottle drives to help us pay our vet bills and transportation costs.
*Do you have any fundraisers coming up that you want my viewers to know about?
1) Halloween Haunted House October 31 5-9PM 433 Signal Road (All Ages)
2) Bottle Drive November 22 (We will go to the address and pick up call 780-881-2457 to arrange pick up time and loction)
3) Silent Auction December 14 7PM Start Time Newfie Club
*What is the adoption process like?
Fill out an application, we review the application, we then perform a home check and ask some further questions, then it’s a meet and greet with your potential new family member, if all go well, you will then fill out an adoption agreement where you must provide some personal identification information such as your driver’s licence number. Note: all of the above must be met in order to have your new family member join your home.
*What does your shelter/rescue hope to achieve in 2014?
Our hope for 2014 and many more years to come is to continue to provide animals with a second chance at love, live, happiness and a family.
*Anything else you want to add?
Spay and Neuter!
Don’t shop adopt!
Consider everything that comes with owning a pet (no matter what it is) they all take time, patience and training. If you cannot foresee committing your spare time to an animal for the next 18 years, please re-consider getting that animal.
If you get an animal and are ready to make the commitment, please take the time to socialize and train your animal so that they can be the best that they can be.
Do not support dog fights!
*Do I have permission to copy this to my blog? Yes
