*What is your Name?
*Where are you from?
*Interesting Facts About Your Animal(s)?
I rescued Kirby when he was 4 months old. The average life span for Guinea pigs is 5-7 years and he’s currently 6, so my vet calls him an ancient pig!
Joey has a disability called radial hypoplasia. It’s a birth defect that causes his front legs and paws to be deformed.
Sadie is polydactyl, which means she has extra toes! She has 2 extras on both of her front paws, and 1 extra on each of her back paws. Sadie has 22 total toes!
Wynston is a puppy mill survivor, whom I rescued at 6 months old. He currently participates in agility and is a spokesdog for ProPlan.
*Animal(s) Favorite Treat?
My dogs will eat anything. They are extremely food motivated. I’d say their favorite treat is anything I am eating!
*Animal(s) Favorite Trick?
Wynston’s favorite trick is “crouch.” He looks so cute and loves to manipulate me with it!
*Where is your pet(s) favorite place to go?
Wynston’s favorite place to go is the beach. He loves running on the sand and sun bathing!
*Perspective on Adopting a Rescue?
I will always adopt a rescue animal. They have the biggest hearts and best personalities!
*What’s your favorite thing to do with your animal (walks, going to a park, playing games etc.)?
My dogs love to go hiking and walking with friends. Wynston also loves agility. But overall, Wynston’s favorite thing to do is play fetch with me. He’s a toy fiend!
*Favorite website to get pet information?
I get pet information from a few different websites. Petmd.com, aspca.org, etc.
*Do your animal(s) love to go for car rides?
Both my dogs love the car. Khloee likes to sit on my lap and Wynston likes to lay on the back seat.
*What’s your favorite animal product?
I love Purina products. I feed my dogs and cats ProPlan. They make great food, treats and dental sticks!
*Why do you think volunteering at an animal rescue/shelter is important?
Volunteering is important because animals don’t have a voice and they need people to stand up for their rights. Too many animals die in shelters that would have made amazing pets and companions. The more we can help and educate people, the more lives we will save.
