My 8 Photos of #Happiness

First off I want to thank Amanda from Dog Mom Days for nominating us for the 8 photos of Happiness started by Ariel’s Little Corner of the Internet as well as sharing her adorable 8 photos with us. You can view Amanda’s photo’s here on her blog post —> Click Here. Everyone who knows me knows that I am all about being cheerful, bubbly and being happy with life. Do you know how hard it was to narrow down so many photos into just 8. Very hard, but hey I think i have got it! Enjoy my 8 photos of happiness below;

(BELOW) is a blurry photo on the computer but very important photo. This photo was featured on the Fort McMurray SPCA’s website and as animals got adopted the powerful word “ADOPTED” showed up in red. This is just after our adoption papers for Apollo, now Rolo got approved. June 23, 2014 is the day that changed his life FOREVER.10530719_438116929663893_260478804833714907_n

(BELOW) This is a photo of my childhood dog Sparky-Lee. As you can tell this is when she was older as her beard was as grey as 50 shades. Her most favorite place to be, besides snuggling with me in bed was to be driving around. This is just after I got my first sports car (2002 midnight blue Ford Mustang). Look at her smile! I miss her dearly! (RIP Nov 6/2008)2417_51563488530_8086_n

(BELOW)  As two very important people in my life were diagnosed with Cancer and I had quite long hair at the time, so I decided in August 2014 that I was going to cut my hair and donate it to the Pantene Great Lengths Campaign in partner with the Canadian Cancer Society. They take donated hair and make wigs for people going through Chemotherapy in Canada. I partnered up with Chatters Fort McMurray and got my hair cut by Debbie. I was able to donate 11 inches of my hair.I makes me very happy to now that by just simply cutting my hair, I was able to make a difference and help someone out. This leads me to my next photo of happiness.
(BELOW) As mentioned above two people in my family were diagnosed with Cancer, one being my Grandmother. I am the first grandchild on my dad’s side to get married. I always looked up to my grandmother, and I think sometimes that I am exactly like her. Bubbly, full of life and wont let anything take her down, especially Cancer. At Christmas, 2013 I had found out that my Grandmother had cancer. I knew she was not able to attend my wedding anymore so I flew down to where she lives and brought my wedding dress with me in February 2014 so that she and my grandpa could at least see me in it. I had a fun trip but I knew it was not going to be the same as if they were with me in Mexico. Well we had arrived in Mexico and some of our guest had arrived up to a week before we got there. We got all settled in and then went for dinner. I spotted my uncle and cousin from afar and ran up to them. I gave him a big hug and he turned me around. There to my surprise was my grandma and grandpa IN MEXICO at MY WEDDING! I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t stop crying and as I write this I tear up as it was the best wedding gift a girl could ever receive. Last minute her doctor had changed her Chemotherapy schedule so that she was able to go but she didn’t tell me. It will be a moment I will never forget. 10154169_10152025192058531_1075811952_n
(BELOW) You have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince charming. Meeting Brett was one of the happiest days of my life. I had never had a man treat me the way that he does. I love every minute that I spend with him and I always look forward to what our future brings! November 9, 2009 we started officially dating. July 22, 2012 we got engaged and March 31, 2014 we got married. I Love You!
(BELOW) This is a photo of me when I was a kid (cute! I know!). I loved smiling and getting my photo taken, I actually also really love my little curly mullet I had going on. I had such a great childhood with two amazing, loving and supportive parents and later on added in two stepparents, who think of me as their own too! They all kept me busy and out of trouble.

(BELOW) I love being able to spend a lot of time with my dog, Rolo. We have a bond that is indescribable. I cherish every moment that I spend with him and look forward to many many years of best-friendship! (totally just made that word up).
(BELOW) A photo that brings happiness into my life is the day that I married by best friend in front of friends & family. Family & friends are so important to me and to be able to spend that time with them in such an amazing location was amazing!
