FMSPCA Paws in the Park August 29th!

As you all know Rolo is a proud former resident of the Fort McMurray SPCA and he loves spreading awareness about all of their events. Join Rolo & I August 29th at Howard Pew Park (Located in Waterways) from 1:00pm-4:00pm for a fun-filled afternoon. This event is in support guessed it! The Fort McMurray SPCA, after all they provide services to the abused, abandoned and homeless animals as well as educational programming for the youth in our region. This event is ALWAYS a ton of fun for every age and your pets are sure to have a blast as well.

*Fun Games & activities for the kids
*Bouncy Castle
*Come hungry! There is a BBQ
*Raffles & Amazing Silent Auction Items
*Get informed at some safety booths
*Enter your pet into the Bow Wow beauty contest
*Consult a Vet at the “Ask the Vet booth”
*Say Cheese in the photo booth
*Take part in the Pledge Walk!

This year they Fort McMurray SPCA has added in a BBQ Cook Off competition in which people or businesses can participate for prizes (and of course bragging rights).
There are 2 categories (Chili or Ribs -$40 registration for 1 category) with prizes awarded to the top 3 scoring teams of each category selected by judges, as well as “People’s Choice” and “best of the day” selected by the public! Even though I am a vegetarian, Rolo is still licking his lips!

    I love nothing more than pet events. We have similar events coming up this fall. I cannot wait for the weather to cool down so I can get out with the dogs again!!!!
