This book, Henry Says, “Hello” is a must have read on every kids list. It’s been seen it on the news, in newspapers and plastered all over social media. Bite incidents are happening all of the time, and there’s something we need to do about it. I cannot stress enough how important it is to teach children and even adults not familiar with animals the proper techniques on how to greet dogs, not only dogs, but any type of animal! With being a mom of a dog who is very weary of children , it’s my duty to teach them the proper ways on how to greet him. People just need to remember that all dogs are not the same and may not have the same demeanor. Some may love to get attention, some may want attention but are scared to ask for it and some may not want it at all. As dogs can’t speak we need to learn how they communicate, and that’s with body language. In this book you will learn a few indicators that show a dog is uncomfortable, stressed out or scared, something we want to avoid happening.

Another great thing about this book, not only is it educational BUT a large portion of the proceeds go towards fundraising efforts for the rescue organizations the Author Sarah supports! How awesome is that!

Thank you for sharing Henry’s message.
you are welcome! Thanks for writing such an amazing story. #biteprevention
this sounds like my dog…she is veryy uncomfortable with children but unfortunately she looks like a toy that they would want to play with!
We work very hard with positive reinforcement in this house to get Rolo to relax around children. he is doing quite well and all children that come around him often know that they are not allowed to hug him etc.
Great story idea!
I completely agree, I think all children should learn what they can and cannot do with animals :) #biteprevention
What a great story! We are a foster family and encounter dogs with so many different personalities.

This is so important. I try to teach my kids about the correct way to approach a dog but this would make it SO much more fun!

This looks a really good book.
We could really use this book. My son loves dogs, but needs to be more cautious.
