Business Spotlight – Caldwell’s Pet Supply Co.

We caught up with Lucas King, the Co-Founder of Caldwell’s Pet Supply Co. for an exclusive interview to get all the deets on their company that was founded in July 2014. Did you know they not only sell great products but they also give back! They have donated over $15,000 worth of merchandise to local Humane Societies in the Maine & New Hampshire area. *Why was it started?
To make the best dog door bells and specialty supplies for pets’ potty time.

*Do you have any animals?
I have a dog named Sidney. He is a border collie that loves to play ball. There is a field behind our house in Maine where he plays ball at least an hour everyday! We have mowed a strip in the field large enough to land a small aircraft where he loves to chase tennis balls that I launch with a Chuck-it.

*What do you specialize in?
We specialize in Potty Bells. (they also carry other products like leashes, carriers, grooming scissors)

*What makes your company different from other companies?
We have really developed the dog doorbell niche in the US and are educating people on how to use them.

*What types of services do you offer?
On top of selling products, we also deliver excellent customer support. We stand behind all of our products and will replace anything that is defective or doesn’t live up to our promise to the customer.

*What inspires you?
Creating something new that people get excited about is what drives our company. We get huge satisfaction out of the customer feedback that we receive from our products.

*What do you plan to accomplish with your business in 2016?
We plan to get national media attention for our products and develop more products.
