We have the honor of reviewing her latest book; Saving Sadie; How a Dog That No One Wanted Inspired The World. It has taken me quite some time to get free time with a busy toddler to get in some reading/alone time, but I did it and I really wish she napped longer so that I was able to finish it a long time ago!

“Sadie was found in the mountains of Kentucky with a bullet hole between her eyes and one in her back put there after she had a litter of puppies and left to die. Strangers found her and took her to a veterinarian. Sadie was adopted to her forever home in April 2012. She has undergone surgery and receives daily therapy in her journey to one day walk again. Despite her disability she is a happy, healthy dog, who along with her mom, travel around the country spreading their message of hope, healing, and disability acceptance” (Paragraph Credit:

This book is the definition of determination, strength and overcoming obstacles. As much as I love reading books about dogs, I love really love books that contain raw, real life stories…that contain dogs.  Joal shows incredible devotion and love towards Sadie that this book will leave you with warm fuzzies inside and maybe just a few tears along the way (have Kleenex on standby). As much as I want to go into detail about the book, I want you to be able to find out yourselves. The link at the bottom of this page is where you can get your hands/paws on it!! Be sure to follow them on social media (posted at the top) to see what they are currently up to! They are such a busy and inspiring dynamic duo it really was an honor to read this book and learn more about them and their bond. Keep up the amazing work gals!
